Rochmon Record Club – Eagles’ “Hotel California”

“Hotel California” marked a shift in sound for the easy-going southern Californian rockers and remains the Eagles’ best-selling original album. “Hotel California” is the first Eagles album to feature the legendary Joe Walsh on guitar and his presence is felt all over the record. “Hotel California” rocks hard with songs such as “Hotel California” and “Life in the Fastlane” but still hits that mellow Eagles sweet spot with the #1 hit, “New Kid in Town”.
The Listening Party begins at 7 pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon”. A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that made this iconic album. By listening together, we hear the music again for the first time. We will listen to “Hotel California” on The Park Theater’s state of the art sound system.
